A one-person business model: 9 Unconventional Steps to a Thriving, “Very Small” Business Obviously some of the steps won’t work for all businesses (“offer no customization” doesn’t work for me as a lawyer, or for other services), but I like the suggestions to hire no one, or focusing entirely on relationship building and cash flow.
I’m not sure exactly what it means to focus on cash flow. I’ve heard that a few other places recently, too. It seems like an obvious thing to do, but I can’t really think of any of my business practices purely in terms of cash flow. Can someone explain this better? It actually makes me think about making purchases in phases rather than all at once, but I’m quite sure that’s not what he meant.
